So…we have succumbed to the great suburban need to build a playground in the backyard. I use the word playground loosely. It’s more of a play area. I justify it by saying we need to have the kids outside more often. They spend too much time indoors. A play area should give them a reason to be outside more often. Also, it makes that large side yard more usable and leaves the patio free for the adults.

Bob Grignaffini is helping build this. Let’s see how this turns out. He did a nice job with our patio.
